Usa In March

3 posts in this topic

Looks like we may be going to our other home ,our sons place, in Virginia for 3 months in about March .Hope there is snow .

Will be looking for another brand amp for my sub that died .

From what I have read on the net Klipsch Bash amps are not crash hot But the actual speaker and enclosure are fantastic

One can get Klipsh 'bash' amp repaired then it faults again later according to many people on the net.

Klipsch make fantastic speakers ,but the amps are apparantly not good at all.

Would'nt you think that a big mature speaker giant could make a decent amp????

I will look in USA for another amp but I have to remember that Australia electronics run at 230Volts

Looking foward to USA again .. :bananaDance: ..................................Alan

You would think a reputable manufacturer could produce or at least source a decent amp, but not always the case. I have seen so many Definitive Technology amplifiers go bad. Not to mention the low grade components used in their speaker crossovers. I would never own any of those. Klipsch on the other hand makes great speakers, but never ran anything of theirs with internal amlification.

Lets hope your trip turns out to be a success (besides a new amplifier as well).
