So my girl friends mom gave me a large cast iron skillet, a small (egg sized) cast iron and 2 pots (2 and 4 quart maybe??) there not new some I'm assuming they are "seasoned".
Anyways I'm looking to make good use of them. I was thinking of cooking a chili in one this week.
What is cast iron best for and what is the proper way to take care of them?

Stabilizing My Bib's On Soft Carpet
21 August 2011 - 12:10 PM
So my BIBs are now in a new place (7th place in their life) and the carpet here is very soft so I need something to make them more stable. I was thinking about using those speaker spikes but they are looking to be about $30 per set! Any other suggestions?

Problem With Dvi To Hdmi Cable
03 May 2011 - 12:15 PM
I bought a computer from my friend a while back for super cheap. it isn't that great but had a lot more features then the one I got for free before that. The video card has a DVI out so I was using a DVI to VGA adapter until I bought a DVI to HDMI cable.
Unfortunately I have been having a problem with the TV recognizing the computer with the HDMI connection. The TV is a Sony LCD. Anyone else ever have these problems?

Compact 2 Channel Laptop Setup
11 April 2011 - 11:20 AM
So my gf really likes to take her computer around her apartment to listen to music. However, I can not stand listening to the laptop speakers anymore.
I'm looking to design something that is very compact and portable. I'm thinking of using a DTA-1 for power since it works off of battery power. For drivers I'm looking for 3" full range preferably.
My ideal setup would be something that will connect together and be easy to hold, but can split so the speakers can be placed on either side of the laptop when needed.
Budget, Cheap
Would like the speakers to be less than the cost of the amp (much less preferably
)
