Bib - Neod Vs Ferrite

Hey everybody! It's been a while since I have been here and over at SSA. I'm liking the changes!

Alright, on to my question. Is there a distinct advantage to using a neodymium speaker when a nearly identical ferrite speaker is also available? Ruling out cost and weight, of course. I want to make another set of BIBs but with 5" speakers. (I just made a set using Tang Band W3-1053SC's and I love them).

I am looking at using either of these speakers:

The speakers have an identical line length and will use very similar cabinets so where is the advantage? I have never listened to or used speakers that use NeoD magnets so I am without a reference to fall back on but from what I have researched there is no sound quality difference.

If anybody can help me out with this, I would really appreciate it. Thanks!
