Have 3 pairs of bookshelf. What should I use as my fronts, rears and surrounds. Or what should I return?

Klipsch VB-15
Polk Audio T15
Energy CB5

Polk PSW110 Sub

Center to come soon.

Thanks!

I have no experience with the Polk speakers, but between the Klipsch and Energy speakers, I like the energy speakers better. All the Klipsch speakers I have heard are too bright for my taste. I looks like the Klipsch speakers will dig a little lower in frequency response. The energys would probably work best in the rears given their size. Then try both the Klipsch and the Polks up front and see what you like. The Klipsch looks like it beats the Polk in terms of efficiency but that could just be the horn.

An the end of the day, it all comes down to personal preference. Try some different combinations and find out what you like, You'll be much happier with those results than anyone else telling you otherwise.

Gooday :wavey5: , I have Klipsch for my front and centre as
there are not many speakers that can handle MASSIVE explosive peaks without distorting.
Front and centre speakers MUST be the same to get a good sound stage ,and must be at ear level when sitting down .
Don't worrey about the bass as the sub should be handeling below 80 cps
Regarding Todd saying that Klipsch sound " too bright " can be an observation of the crystal clear sound that Klipsch are famous for.
Note that how clear the speakers are on human voice.
Polk speakers are too good to use on surrounds .
Use them as mains in a high quality stereo setup .
Any old speaker will do as surrounds , say your energy spkrs.
Please see the Home Theater section as there is tons of info that may be helpfull ....................................Alan
