I love Car Audio, but the up keep on my vehicle is getting too expensive (considering all the family stuff I have to pay out) ...
Here lately, I spend most of my off time in my easy chair watching movies / tv / surfing the net ... My wife and kids are screaming for more money every day, so they practically have taken over all the chores around the house to "Work for the money" ...
My truck seems to be the "go everywhere" and "work out of" vehicle instead of Dads show vehicle ... gets aggrivating at times, but what can you do ...

I've about decided to pull my system out of the truck and return it back to its stock condition ... and build me a Small Home Audio / Video entertainment system ... Thinking I will be liking this much better at my older age ...

Won't be the "Perfect" system, but I guess I will make the best out of what I have to work with ...
Start out with a 2 way passive system with a 6.5" component set ... (gonna take me a month of sundays to get that sub enclosure out of my truck) ...

You all wish me luck ...
Not sure when all this is getting started, but I know I can't afford to travel to any more car audio events, and make truck repairs too ...
More I think about it ... The more fun this sounds ...

Thanks ...
Randal Johnson ... :eek5wavey:

Sorry to dissapoint you there bro ... but thats exactly what I'm going to do ... :eek5wavey:

unless you can give me the money to buy a new setup ... I'm trying to save every dime to build this new (OLD) truck ...
besides, they sound great to me, I have no reason to change drivers ...

Also, I noticed you avitar ... What do you have against BOSE Systems ???
My 901s were the best speakers I've ever owned ... took massive power, and sounded great !!! and Lasted for YEARS !!!

Thank you ... :eek5wavey:

Over the years, I have been restoring old stereos, jukeboxes, things like that ...
My mom has an old coffee table with a stereo in it ... the wood "table" looks great, but not sure of the old components ... might just get that and rebuild it for my wife in the living room ...
My Wife wants me to find and restore a old jukebox ... but not much room for one (unless i get rid of the aquarium, and thats not going to happen), and good luck for me to find one ...
I wish I could find one of those old "Cabinet" style stereos ... like from back in the 50s ... Those look amazing to me, and sounded great !!!

A bunch. Despise their marketing and nearly everything they've ever produced.

I understand your confusion a bit more now though. :)

I have no confusion problem ... But Thank you for your input ...
But I've just about decided to keep everything in my truck (and finish the system) and get it restored ...

And since I know you don't like BOSE either, I will be looking into building me a nice BOSE home Audio System ...

If not confused then partly deaf or at least some serious hearing problem.

DOT certified, lol. Nice test. A whisper at 5' certifies you are an excellent listener of music.

As for my suggestions, you just don't like hearing that what you have is inferior and are too thick headed to listen to something else. Obviously brainwashed and its so bad its not even amusing.

Sir ... Can you please leave me alone ???
Thank you for all your help, if I have a question for you, honestly, I will ask ...

I do not have the money to put a AM/FM transistor radio in my house at this time ...
Nor do I have the money to do anything else to my truck ... I couldn't afford processing even if I wanted to ...

I have done nothing ON THIS FORUM to piss you off ...
So I will ask again ... Sean, please leave me alone ... Thank you sir for your time ...
