Cant wait for the holiday to USA , be there 3/10
We are going to visit NY , hope we don't get lost amongst the sea of people there as we want to ride the subway and try and find any interesting Home Theatre shops around to see what the new trends are over there . I am predicting a trend in the near future will be wrap around screens , at least 180deg.
We have friends that live in Manhattan , I don't think it is very far from NY.
We heard there are a lot of muggers in NY, we don't have them here , If they tried anything on me I would laugh at them and punch them up the throat and break their bloody arms off , they would learn not to mess with Aussies .

We enjoy walking through the city also. I am sure you have nothing to worry about as I have never been bothered buy anybody. Make sure you visit Chinatown too.

Thanks , you make us feel a bit more secure . All one sees of NY over here is muggings and murder on TV cop shows. Never thought of China Town , A good meal wouldn't go astray over there . Maybe our friends over there would know a good restaurant . Food for thought ! (bad pun ) ................Alan

American Media saturates the news with all the worst things happening and fear, but it isn't nearly as bad as they make it seem.

Bill Hicks had a good stand up bit about that subject.

Never been to NY though. Seems like it'd be a really cool place to visit one of these days. Have fun
