I was blown away the other day . I was in the house.
My granddaughter was outside by the pool playing extremely loud pop music (if one can call it music}.
I wondered what she had in the way of speakers as the sub bass was very deep and loud.
I went outside to suss out the audio ,and I could not believe my eyes ,The sub was coming from a box the size of a shoe box evidently 4Th order bypass enclosure , one small vent to the outside, and the mid highes from two tiny flattish speakers with no enclosure to speak about The whole lot powered by a built in amp in the sub.On the input was a' Ipod;
I looked at the brand name' Altek Lansing ' 30 Years ago they were known as extremely high end speaker manufactures. Not many could afford that brand . There was no apparent distortion.????? !
I am not surprised that the performance is exceptional due to the make.
It showed me what can be done with a very well engineered small speaker .
I would go so far to reccomend it for a small stereo Home Theatre.....................Alan
