It was bad enough putting up with the floods ,but, the next challenge is a hurricane about to set foot on land up a bit from where we live in Cains .the government are evacuating at the moment.
If the hurricane swings around and comes down the coast a bit we will be hit also .
At least we haven't have any bush fires this season so far .
Life isn't made to be easy i suppose.
Better go now and tape the windows and put all yard junk :thanx: away and keep an eye on the situation ................................Alan

Thanks for your concern Neal.
There has never been a hurricane of this strength hit Australia.
It looks like the hurricane is not swinging at the moment .
It has been upgraded to a cat.5 ,300kmh plus winds.
That is strong enough to blow the socks off the line.:thanx:
We are taking no chances so we should be OK.........Alan

Good news for us Todd,
It landed further up the track and missed where we live.
Where it landed it did enormous damage to the small towns in its path.It will take the little towns years to recover .
We have until about May , then Cyclone season will be over .

We are just waiting to see what mother nature will throw at us next Aaron.
In time of crisis all Aussies help each over . We ask strangers who are displaced due to bushfire, flooding , or cyclone, etc. into our houses , cloth and feed them ,help them clean up their property, then , if we can , help them rebuild, . That is the wonderful spirit of the Australian.......................................Alan.
