This is what I currently have as my substage in the home theater. I am going to redo it soon.
This is the rest of my home theater equipment:
Hitachi CLU-436U1 Big screen TV (10 years and still working fine) ----- Soon to be replaced with a mitsubishi hc3800 projector
Yamaha RX-V663 Receiver
Motorola GI-2000 Cable Box
Philips DVP-5960 Dvd Player ----- Soon to be replaced with my PC :P
Acoustech HT-85 Center
Acoustech HT-88 Towers
Sony Towers (About 12 years and don't know the model) ----- Soon to be replaced by a custom 3 way that I will build
Venturi DV32 Surrounds
Edead eQ.2 Processor (subsonic filter)
Behringer EP1500 Amplifer
Mach 5 MJ18-M Subwoofer (11 ft^3 tuned to 20hz)
Logitech Harmony 880 Advanced Remote

Box is 11 cuft net tuned to 20hz powered by a behringer ep1500. This is one of the first boxes I built lol.

Good day <img src="http://www.homeaudioforum.net/public/style_emoticons/default/eek5wavey.gif" class="bbc_emoticon" alt=":P"> If I was you I would divide the room with a wall ,and it looks like your room set up you could have a full width stage to make a giant enclosure for your sub , get rid of the drink and have the room as a dedicated home theatre . And paint it all black . and that would be a fantastic start. See home theatre on this forum .Home theatre is all about atmosphere , when you walk into a black room with a (painted) screen that is when excitement builds , that is the start of home theatre . The best of luck , and please keep us informed of your progress as as you may gather that we are interested in what you are doing ...............................Alan

Yup but this area isn't totally a home theater area. The pool table will be moved farthest away from the entertainment area and then a dance floor is going in the middle of the area behind the movie area. When I get my projector, things will be black. But I doubt I can section off the area like I want.

You can section off the area with black curtains on a track that goes across the room . when you want to have HT just pull the certain across.. .................Alan

That was one of the ideas I had. I would have to wait for the projector to come into play first.

And I may be replacing the MJ18-M with an AA Avalanche 18". A new box will be made if that is the case depending on if I have any other boxes to do or not.

The AA Avalanches are awesome. I had a buddy who had a single 12 and it was killer. I've heard lots of great things about mach 5 though, but never had the pleasure of hearing any.

My next sub project is going to be a pair of ShivaX2s in an IB installation. I already got the OK by the wife to cut a big hole in the ceiling... after that it should be easy to get her to agree to let me put a projector in...

Home System: Pioneer Elite VSX45TX, DV45A, BDP-23FD. Samsung Series 5 Plasma. Custom mains in a 7.1 format. Harmony One remote. PS3 gaming. Monster Circuit Protection.

I had the money for a projector but I decided to put in my car instead. I bought full coilover suspension. So now I gotta start saving again.

At first glance, that reads like you put the projector in the car.
