What did i do this Easter ?????
Seeing that I live in tropical paradise there is no need for me to travel .
SO I went fishing along the massive Burnett river .
No need for a boat here , fishing the banks is more than good enougth '
Any fish under 3' we chuck it back in so it can grow up .
One of my freesers in full of fish , the Wife complains to use it up
before i catch more . Woman dont understand fishermen .

Hmm, I chuck back everything over 3' (actually depending on species perhaps even WAY smaller). Removing the larger of the species will ruin the gene pool leaving only smaller ones for the future. Plus with any animal, the more mature the worst they taste. I am also completely opposed to filling a freezer with fish. Eat if you like, but please practice selective harvest and don't waste. And yes I understand fisherman as I spend every possible free moment I have fishing. I also live in a fisherman's paradise.

Sean , Good day :P Over here anything under 3' is a baby .I filled my freezer with one fish and i dont waste a bit . As to gene pools I fish in an estery . I would never fish in a pool and let the fish run out . .........................................Alan

Night before easter we had the wife's family over and made pressed samiches.

Easter day we went to my family. Had white borscht with hard boiled eggs ham and a couple easter European sausages. I take mine with extra horse raddish please. one of the best years we have had. Fermented amazingly, no after taste. Yum. In the afternoon we had eggrolls and pierogi with fried onions.

Lots of rolled pastries also.

Great day in general. Played pictionary and watched kids run arround.

Try harder you wont be disappointed when you are dangling a line , when you are away from the pressures of life . Instead off waging war ,enemies should wage a fishing competition .The biggest one wins .
Hows that for an idea ? .....................Alan

Glad you had a great time . I just went fishing with my grandson. tied his leg to a tree so the big ones didn't drag him in . Lost 2 rods though forgot to put the chain around them ...........Alan

Thank you. Not a boat, but a tackle box. :( Bought it 2 years ago now and could still sell it for around $5k more than I paid

Before I was married I had a 30' Sea Ray for chasing tail. Once I was locked in, I traded down for a fishing boat although I don't really consider it a downgrade although it was $15k cheaper :P
