  1. I have my receiver sitting on the top shelf of my entertainment stand (it's a short, small stand). I want to somehow place my center channel above my receiver. I would simply sit it on top but I don't want to block the vents on top of the receiver plus id like to get it up a little closer to ear level. Even a few inches would be good. (5-8inch boost preferred) I saw this and thought this might be something that would work.... It's a bit expensive though for a such a small shelf. http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B004XT6SIC/ref=mp_s_a_1_101?qid=1385095990&sr=1-101π=SY200 Note: center channel is very large and is not wall mountable.
